Say Anything/Something Community Showcase and Open Mic

  • Stuart Park 1430 Water Street Kelowna, BC, V1Y 1J1 Canada (map)

Join us for the final event of the Inspired Word Café season, as well as the final event of Say Anything/Something.

Say Anything/Something is a community-based performance and workshop series connecting professional, emerging, and amateur artists, both visiting and local, with the wider Okanagan community through writing and performance. In this series, invited authors and performers presented work alongside emerging and amateur authors and performers, and offered accessible, free literary workshops to the public. In 2024/25, the series had 5 events and 6 workshops.

The series culminates Saturday, July 12th lakeside at Kelowna's downtown Stuart Park in a final hybrid event. This event will feature performances from visiting author Clint Burnham, local poet-performers Cole Mash and Erin Scott, and participants from the workshops. Finally, Black Sails Publications will host a 30-minute open mic. Come hang!
