Open Works

What is Open Works?

We are all different, with differing needs and preferences. Sometimes those needs conflict with others in our community.  A project with IWC and UBC Okanagan, Open Works helps us understand competing forms of access in our community.

Through Open Works, IWC hopes to foster new writing and performances that engage these differences. Participants in the Open Works workshops will have the chance later in 2019 to have their work included in an IWC audio anthology.

Open Works is funded in part by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
